To reduce the carbon footprint from items being shipped, please consider snatching from people within biking distance.
 
Whether it’s some extra cash in your pocket and more space in the wardrobe, or an item which is new for you, enjoy it! Then, add more items. Or snatch more items. And the best of all, it’s guilt-free!
 

Why a circular closet?

You can have fun sharing and inspiring others through your look, getting inspired by other members, save the planet consuming in a more sustainble way, save some bucks, find unique treasures and always have something cool & new to you.

You chose how to share your item. it is always up to you!

You can sell, accept offers, swap or lend it.

Because there are so many different ways that you can consume sustainably!

And we know that having a sustainable closet isn’t a one way fits all, we want to include, not exclude the possibilities of having better ways to consume.

A lot of love, respect, your style and, of course your fashion items, which includes: Clothing, accessories, shoes, bags and cosmetics.

All items must be in good condition, this means still can serve it’s purpose. If an item has a small damage that does not impact your usability, commercial value, performance, so can still be consumed and be desired, this item is welcome in our community.

**Cosmetics: has to be sealed, been well storaged, in the original packaging, new, not expired nor near to be expired.**

Fees are applied to sales made with credit/debit as a payment method through our website processed by Stripe.

Currently there are no fees applied to offline payments “Pay directly to the vendor”.

We use Stripe to process all payments made with credit/debit. 

Payments made with Stripe are encrypted, safe for you as a vendor and for your customers.

In your dashboard you can decide which payment method you want to accept, offline payment “pay directly to the vendor” or “debit/credit /Stripe”.

You must set up your payment preferences and create/connect your Stripe account before adding an item for sale.

Stripe is a payment platform used by many companies all over the world.

Stripe makes easier for you to accept payments with credit/debit and for us to collect the marketplace fee.

If you choose to accept credit / debit as a payment method you have to create and connect your Stripe account in your dashboard.

Most common questions about...

Fashion PWR is not responsible for transactions made in our platform.

You can buy, swap, borrow and make offers at the moment.

In the product page you will find a button that either says: “add to cart” or “request”.

 

Items for sale

For items for sale you will have the “add to cart” button. This is straight forward, and works as any other shopping experience when purchasing an item.

 

Swap, borrow and accept offers

And for the other types you have the button “request”. In this case you will have to send some details to the vendor and wait to see if they accept your request. 

For example:

For swapping you can send images of what you have to swap.

For making an offer you can send your price offer.

For borrowing you can send the number of days you want to borrow it.

 

Observation!

Requests are valid for 24hrs. 

They are not binding, unless you have accepted it.

 

Catalog 

There are cases where there is no button, “catalog” products, that means the sellers chose that you have to contact them to know the disponibility of the item.

In the product page and in the vendors closet/page you will find a button “send a message”, there you can send a message to the vendor and ask anything you need to know for a smooth transaction.

You can find and keep your chat in your dashboard, as a buyer and as a vendor.

There you can even send images and other attachments.

Yes, items can be shipped. But depends vendors decide if they want to offer shipping or just meet up.
 
Meet up is the default method and to reduce the carbon footprint from items being shipped, please consider snatching from people within biking distance.
 
 

Vendor & customer relationship

Offer the best experience

Add as much information as necessary about your item, picture it’s real condition.

It is better letting people know  about small details, than holding information that maybe it is a deal breaker for them.

This will avoid missunderstandings and will reinforce a great relationship between you and your followers/”clients”.

It is not only about the looks that people will keep following you and your closet.

This community is all about inspiring and getting inspired.

People doens’t follow only the closet, they follow the closet’s owner vibes and personality.

Keeping an open communication is also a key to keep a strong relationship with your followers / “clients”.

This helps them to feel safe when getting things from your closet, knowing they can have access to you in case they have any question.

Get the best experience

Just buy or request an item if you are sure that you want it.

If you just like it and are unsure you can save it on your wishlist.

When renting, swapping or borrowing an item always follow the closet’s owner rules and give all the information needed for a safe transaction for both of you.

Always be cordial with everybody you interact with in our community.

Treat others and their items as your own, in the best way as you can.

Remember that we are here in this community because we all (including you), believe that is possible having a sustainable closet. 

Keep an open communication with the closet owner that you made your transaction with, if anything comes up contact them as soon as you can.

Before a transaction always ask as many questions you might have and read the closet’s rules.

General rules

We always do our best to keep our community safe, but we also count on you to take some safety measures.

Here are some recommendations:

  • Do not rent or lend valuable items;
  • We reccomend making transactions near you, especially renting and lending, it is less CO2 emission, it can be safer and you save more money.
  • When leaving and/or receiving your item check the condition of your item together with the other user.
  • If something happens to attemp to scam others, have unethical behaviour, including if something unexpected happens during / after / related to this transaction, repport the user in the contact box below or send us an email at hello@fashionpwr.com
  • After each transaction leave a review of each other.
  • Before going forward in any  trasaction check all rules applied to the item and the transaction, each vendor set their own rules;
  • Check reviews about the user;
  • Check some other social proof, such as their social media;
  • Send a message and ask anything you need to know to have a smooth experience;
  • Meet in public areas;
  • Follow our safety recommendations;
 
It is always good to find a good treasure with a good price, however if something seems too good to be true, it probably is.

Each vendor has their own rules, please check the closet’s rules. You can find them in their closet’s page and in the product page. 

Their rule can also vary. They can apply rules for their whole closet and /or for each item. 

If you have any question about their rules, contact the closet owner before going forward with your transaction.

We encorage an open communication and interaction between users of this community, we do reccommend keeping the communication in this platform.

Fashion PWR does not take sides or mediate transactions and eventual problems between vendors /closet owners and customers.

Fashion PWR can be made aware of a possible misbehaviour by any member.

Fashion PWR’s  can ban an user at anytime.

Users can review each other.

We recommend leaving a review after your experience for a safe environment.

 

Shipping and/or return policies can be arranged between users of the platform, but Fashion PWR Marketplace bears no responsibility for these arrangements between users.

It is possible to add a tracking number to an order in you vendor dashboard.

Adding an item

  • Add as much information as you can, this helps avoiding misunderstandings between you and a buyer, user.

 

  • Add a nice picture of your item. This is fundamental. Our community is about inspiring and getting inspired.

 

  • Be clear about your rules.

 

  • Keep your closet updated. This avoid leading people to items that are not available anymore and you getting messages from people interested on your items.

 

  • Always answer your messages this keeps the bond between you and your followers.
  • Add nice pictures.
  • A listing can be rejected if your image does not follow our guidelines.
  • Add only images that you have the ownership.
  • Items with images suspected taken from other websites will be rejected or removed from our community.

A listing can be not approved, removed or changed to a draft.

No, you can not have more than one account for safety reasons. You can have more than one account only if you want to have an separated account from your business account, so you can have an business account and a regular account.

Make space for something new and exciting for you, while letting your item have a new life, make some money! 

Sell your item

How does it work?

Add your item, choose “Sell“, set your rules and information about it, and wait until someone order your item.

Do you know that tshirt that you forgot you have, it is still in good condition, but you don’t like it anymore? Why not get any bucks for it? 

Why not accept an offer for it?

How does it work?

Add your item, choose “Accept offers”, add information about it and wait until the offers come.

When adding an item “open for offers” you decide which offer to accept or decline;

All offers are made by sending a request in the item’s page.

If an offer is fair to you, you just have to edit the new price and accept the offer.

Looking for something new, but a tight budget? Or you have some stuff you don’t want anymore and you want to exchange for something exciing and new for you?

SWAP it!

How does it work?

Add your item and choose “Swap”, add information about it and wait until the requests come.

When adding an item for swapping you decide what to accept or decline;

You can add a description of what you are looking for to swap it.

If you are not using and it is not your favorite item, why not lend it to others? It is good for the planet, you let your item shine, and it is a free why to have a new outfit.

How does it work?

Add your item, choose “Lend”, add information about it and wait until people send a request.

When adding an item to be borrowed you decide which inquiry to accept or decline;

You can also let people know if you lend only to friends or to anyone;

You set your rules about your item, such as caring and washing;

Do you know that ball dress that is in your closet and you don’t know what to do with it and you dont’t have any event coming? Why not rent it out?
